Hello and Thank You for visiting the Amber Detrick Memorial Website.
I would like to tell everyone a little bit about ourselves.
Amber was an only child and was wanting to become an Educator for handicap children and a child psycholiogist.
But God had other plans.
On July 31st, 2008 Amber and her unborn son lost their lives.
We started the Non-Profit Organzation to keep Ambers Hopes and Dreams Alive.
Last year we held two fundraising events in one day and the proceeds went to what was near and dear to Ambers heart.
The Make - A - Wish and The Gifts of Yanks (VA hospital)
This years 5K Run/Walk event proceedes went to the Vets at the American Legion Post.
Last year (2009), Amber would have graduated, but instead we started a scholorship in her name.
This years proceeds from the 2nd Annual Amber Detrick Memorial Benefit and Poker Run. The proceeds will go to the scholorship fund.
Giving back to those that Amber can no longer give back to.
